It is my absolute favorite thing to connect with people over their stories. Your unique compilation of experiences, emotions, and decisions that make you you and lead you to this moment. It would be my honor to learn what "home" is in your story, and to help you to write that incredible next chapter.
"Home" can mean a lot of things. For some it is warmth, safety, and comfort. For others it is a feeling found in a song, movie, or book. Home may be family, embrace, and the sound of children laughing, or it may be a solo cup of coffee before the world awakes. A physical location and the walls around you, or your state of mind and feeling of peace.
Micah was born and raised in San Diego, CA where he grew up surfing, playing volleyball, going to punk rock shows, and sitting back with friends making the proud teenage proclamation that, “This is the good life.”
Micah attended the University of California, Santa Barbara and received his undergraduate degree in Sociology in 2006. Trying to put as much sunshine into his pocket as possible, he decided to stay at UCSB for an extra year to earn his Masters Degree in Education. He applied his education and passion for the following years in the exercise industry, first as a Physical Education teacher and Volleyball coach, and ultimately as a Personal/Group Trainer and Boutique Fitness Studio manager in Santa Barbara, Seattle, and Los Angeles. Micah liked training clients and leading teams of trainers, but loved getting to know people, building relationships, and connecting.
In 2019, Micah and his wife Annie had a baby boy and decided it was time for a change. They began to research where home would be after California, and took a trip to beautiful Boise, ID in the Spring of 2020. After a short 24 hours of breathing in the fresh air, experiencing the amazing food and culture, and witnessing peoples’ pleasant, kind nature, they turned to each other and said, “Now this is the good life.” They went home, packed up and were in Boise to stay by the end of summer.
As an agent with an ever-growing love for this city and a profound appreciation for that feeling of “home,” Micah is so looking forward to connecting with people, hearing their stories, and helping them to write their next chapter.
